Music during pregnancy

Music. It fills our homes, gives us chills and makes us cry. When you are pregnant it can be very pleasant to listen to music.
Some studies indicate that fetuses can hear sounds by moving. But it is uncertain what these movements mean because an unborn baby isn’t easily observed.
The best way to listen to music is on a stereo. It is recommended not to place headphones directly onto your belly, otherwise the music might be too loud for your baby.
When you play songs on a stereo you must not pump up the volume. 65 decibels (dB) is the maximum. This can be compared to the background music in a store.
A baby can also remember the music you have played while they were still in the womb. The more often they heard the song in the womb, the stronger will their recognition be afterwards. This can be noticed when the baby becomes more alert and wriggly.
Music is a great way for you to relax, reduce stress, fall asleep or induce happy feelings.
What kind of music are you listening to, during your pregnancy?
